Unfortunately, because my file became corrupted, the developed island I
created with had more terrain texture was lost, so I only manages to
salvage these Fraps screenshots of my initial island, as proof of my
work this week:
It is a shame that my cry engine file corrupted, but I am trying to locate some backups I made for the next lesson.
This lesson was informative, and showed me that I can import a terrain already created in Geo Control much easier, and also that I can make a custom terrain that is more realistic into the environment, without having to painfully remake it in the Cry engine. Because my file deleted, I know the pain of what would happen if I made every texture or terrain material within the cry engine, then it is easily corrupted or deleted. I will try to be more careful in the future.
